Fratelli Pettinaroli Dynasty range is the solution you are looking for. Dynasty PICV are axial Pressure Independent Control Valves built to last, like well-known Pettinaroli ball valves. They combine top class flow control performances and reliable design. The unique configuration of the differential pressure regulator allows the valve to operate in heavy-duty conditions in terms of water quality: a proprietary test demonstrated that the PICV worked with original accuracy even thought the circulating water was highly contaminated by iron oxide. Moreover, all the components are made of best available material which are controlled several times during the production process by our quality team. The body is made of annealed DZR brass while the membrane and the characterized shutter is made of EPDM.

Beside this, maintenance of a PICV has never been so easy: the valve internals can be removed through a spanner. Then, they can be cleaned with fresh water, a cloth and put back in place or, if required, they can be replaced with new ones. Every internal (headwork) is test after assembling and a unique code is lasered on it for traceability: no headwork leaves our factory if a rigorous quality test is not passed.

In any case, our responsibility for the planet and new generations force us to design and build low-energy demanding HVAC systems, especially where they run 24/7, like in health care facilities. The right amount of water at the right time and in the right place: this is the aim of any balancing and control valve and this is what a PICV does. This is the most suitable control characteristic for water-to-air coils, providing the terminal unit with the right amount of water at any time. Indeed, just the combination of an equalpercentage control valve on a water coil makes a linear control system, easy to be controlled by the BMS. So, the minimum required amount of water flows through the coil at any time. This generates a big energy saving: because of the Affinity Law, the relation between flow rate (pump speed) and pump power is cubic; 50% less water flowing thorough the systems, means 87.5% leas energy consumed by the pump. Huge savings, with very fast ROI!
